Things I’m Learning
On Tuesday, I had the joy of shadowing Tiahna Somero for a bridal shoot. First of all, I was amazed by the way that Tiahna carries herself around the clients. I feel like a lot of people tend to create walls in between themselves and clients in order to be professional, but I was blown away by the way that Tiahna was able to be professional while also making the clients feel like they were close friends. I was also able to observe the way that Tiahna gave the client very specific instructions for posing. I think this made everyone feel more confident and at ease. She was never without direction and kept things moving super smoothly, even though one of the family members made things semi difficult. I think it was helpful to watch someone navigate those difficult dynamics in such a graceful and kind way. Tiahna is truly so amazing at what she does.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I walked away feeling so inspired and so much more confident in my abilities. I’m excited to continue to shadow and learn more!
