Feedback, does it help?
When I managed a photography group I commented that to provide feedback you needed the intent of the photo, MattK says it the why. What did you want to accomplish? Many attendees told my NO! The photo should stand on it's own.
Before I was the group manager/chairman an experienced, when viewed my photo, commented "you used the wrong shutter speed" because the face was sharp, a little soft at a foot and one hand and the pickleball was blured going away from the paddle.
I informed that was the intent. The why.
For me to provide feedback/critique I want to know the why.
What is your experience of giving and receiving feedback?
