A7RV flash issues

I recently bought the Sony A7RV and immediately started to panic when I couldn't get it to communicate properly with my transmitter Flashpoint X2T paired with the AD200 pro. I never use it on TTL but still want the option, though it seems this is one of the issues with all Sony models that have the new menu system. I'm not sure if that's been fixed yet but crossing my fingers that the firmware update did it's magic while I was asleep last night lol

I'm also having something of a brain fart cuz I can't remember how to fix the banding issue at the top of the screen without locking me into a 1/125 shutter speed. Any suggestions?
