'Proper' Technique
I have developed a style of holding and throwing the boule (shooting) that works for me since I started playing with casual players 3 years ago and received no instruction from them. I have improved steadily even though my form is not "technically correct".
This weekend my son and I placed 3rd in a regional tournament of 16 teams but was told that my 'improper' technique will be self-limiting and that I should scrap my learned technique sooner than later and re-learn using the "correct" form.
Thoughts?
