🚨 Major FDA PCAC Update for the Peptide Community
Yesterday, the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) voted to recommend all four peptides reviewed for inclusion on the 503A Bulks List.
Committee recommendations:
✅ BPC-157 — 8-6 (1 abstention)
✅ KPV — 8-6 (1 abstention)
✅ TB-500 — 8-6 (1 abstention)
✅ MOTS-c — 7-5
This is a significant development, especially since FDA staff had recommended against listing these compounds before the meeting.
A few important points:
• These votes do NOT mean these peptides are FDA approved.
• The PCAC is an advisory committee, and its recommendations are non-binding.
• The FDA will make the final determination after completing its review and rulemaking process.
Today, the committee is reviewing:
🧬 DSIP (Emideltide)
🧬 Semax
🧬 Epitalon
I’ll continue following the meeting and provide updates as new information becomes available.
As always, my goal is to provide balanced, evidence-based education—not hype.
What are your thoughts on yesterday’s recommendations?
