PLEASE READ: Customer Service Advice For Everyone
Cleaning up this purified situation has given me a lot of insight into what these customer service reps are dealing with behind the scenes. A lot of people send half written emails with no information about their actual order, no payment confirmation, and no explanation about what happened. Please understand emails get lost especially when you don't give enough information it's almost impossible for them to do anything for you.
Next time you have an issue:
  1. Email the customer support via the Contact email on the Research Site
  2. Provide Order Number, Shipping Confirmation Number (if you have one), address, summary of what went wrong
  3. Try to be nice to these people they didn't pack your order or process it ( I've gotten death threats from people who's orders didn't get shipped out after two days). The nicer you are the more willing they are to work with you
  4. Please give them a reasonable time to respond (24hrs)
  5. Follow Up
I've seen some of the nastiest messages I've ever seen in my life over the past 2-3 months directed at me and I can't impact your order directly as I don't work for any of these companies. I can't imagine what these customer service reps go through every single day.
Please be kind and remember these people want to help, don't make their life 10x worse in the process. I understand all POVs here and some customer service reps are not helpful or kind back. I will always be customer first and aim to improve this looking for solid companies. However, please keep this in mind.
