How to create a HTML software code in ChatGPT
Hey team, yesterday I created a HTML software tool for my website to increase conversion rates. I wanted to give you the prompts I used so you can try it out. Hope this is helpful!
Prompt 1: Hi can you be my expert coder, marketer and strategist to help me create a free software for my clients? I want to give them an easy calculation they can add their data into to see how many leads, sales, and conversions they would get using ads. I have my set ads and then there will be a spot where they enter their various information to get the outcome. Here is what I have so far (add your details).
Prompt 2: Is there anything we can add in there to make this better, improve, or help the user add their details? Sometimes the users don't know all the numbers like total website visitors or conversion rates.
Prompt 3: Can you now turn this into an HTML embed code I can simply embed into my website pages?
Prompt 4: Great job. Next I want you to brand it with our colors. Background is #000000, text color is #ffffff, and highlight colors are #3269ff. I also will want to ask the user for their first name and email via an opt-in form to get the final calculation numbers and output. I'll want to be able to get an email notification of the persons name and email after they hit submit. Their doesn't need to be a title as I will title it in my website builder.
Prompt 5: That's great, now I want you to refine it to make it look even better. After they submit their lead details they should see the calculator and amounts to add above the final results. They can then continue to adjust the calculator to see the results below. Once they provide their name and email they should not have to add their details again. The calculator and results should then be on one page and they can stay their to continue to adjust.
Prompt 6: Okay now give me an API end point code so I can integrate the email opt-in form with Zapier to enable automation after someone submits the form.
