HP Lovecraft and Cthulhu
Cthulhu is a fictional cosmic entity created by writer HP Lovecraft. I created this single-panel cartoon as a parody. Quietly and loudly asking the question if there might be a reality where HP Lovecraft and Cthulhu were not only friends but had fun and goofy moments.
Why I love this cartoon I created so very much:
The dialogue: “Cthulhu, is that you??” feels like a kid spotting a celebrity, or old friend at Disneyland. Cthulhu putting his tentacle over HP's eyes along with another set of tentacles forming "Bunny Ears" behind HP's head is just the details needed to make this cartoon Perfectly absurd.
