This course is so incredibly helpful! If you like what you see with his short video clips, you will love Parent Lab! ❤️I’m really UNDERSTANDING more about why my teenage grandson acts the way he does, and how my responses can either help or hurt the situation. It’s amazing how small changes are making things better…it’s surprisingly easy!🎉 I am so thankful I found this course, and being able to share with other parents (at my own comfort level) has taken away the isolation of the struggle. 💙

The Parent Lab, Jake, and the parent community have been so helpful. I particularly love the Behavior Translator. You are able to put in a specific situation you are going through and it helps explain your child's actions and gives you suggestions on how to communicate in a way that is supportive. I love the weekly meetings where parents can bring a specific issue to the group and Jake helps you figure out why it may be happening and what steps to take. I highly reccomend this!

I have not been part of this community for long (about 2+ months) but I found after going through all of the classroom activities, being on a few group calls with Jake & watching Jake's FB reels & updates on here, I have learned how to change my parenting tactics to work better for my nearly 16 year old son. I often now say to myself, "What would Jake do?" and implement that strategy and it works. Jake really has a pulse on dealing with difficult teens and their parents.

Jake has help me navigate the hardest part of my parenting journey . I never thought this would occur. My daughter completely going from being so loving her whole life to completely detached and no relationship for months. Jake’s educational material, Q and A groups and a great community have helped me thru really crappy days! He is truly gifted in speaking teen language and behavior. He is also gifted in helping parents / guardians navigate these challenges.

As a parent and a secondary school teacher, this site is extremely useful. It has helped me with my own children and the students who walk through my classroom door on a daily basis. There is literature and lessons connecting development stages of adolescence to the behaviors we see, as well as strategies to work through them. Jake is responsive, giving timely, supportive guidance as well as a community of parents navigating similar situations.
