🩺 Medical Myth Buster
Cold hands ≠ poor circulation (most of the time)
A lot of people assume cold hands automatically mean bad circulation. In reality, it’s usually your nervous system, not your blood vessels failing.
👉 Stress, anxiety, caffeine, and cold exposure all trigger vasoconstriction (your body pulling blood inward to protect vital organs).
When it can matter:
• Persistent color changes (white → blue → red)
• Pain, numbness, or ulcers
• Symptoms only on one side
That’s when conditions like Raynaud’s phenomenon or vascular disease get considered.
🧠 Takeaway:
Cold hands are common. Pattern + symptoms matter more than temperature alone.
