Tools:
In the start of Lesson 3, Buckland mentions that it's best if you can make your Athame (tools in general) yourself. He even goes into "kitchen blacksmithing" like it's just as easy as making a box of mac & cheese. (sorry but this was my first impression of his instructions).
While it really is best to make your own working ritual tools, in reality not everyone has the ability to do that.
