English grammar is wild because it runs on vibes, not logic.
You say “I’m on a bus” but “in a car.”You “get in” a car but “get on” a bus.Why? No reason. We all just agreed.
Change one word and the meaning flips:
- The dog bit the man 🐶
- The man bit the dog 😳
Same words. New headline.
