Scars that bleed: Psalm 147:3
- Surface wounds are like visible hurts: rejection, disappointment, or failure that time can dull.
- Internal wounds — betrayal, abandonment, abuse, or loss — penetrate the soul. They linger in the heart and shape how we think, feel, and respond.
- Spiritual truth: God doesn’t just want to bandage your pain; He wants to restore wholeness (Isaiah 61:1 – “He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted”).
