WHISK is part of Google Labs (labs.google/fx), a series of AI shortcuts that makes it insanely easy to build out a scene from just a few images.
And the wild part? If you’re already on Gemini… you probably have access to it right now.
I started with one simple portrait… nothing special.
Then I refined it... wider angle, more context, more world.
Suddenly the camera pulled back.
Then it went overhead.
Then it slid out to the window ledge like the scene had its own "pigeon" or "squirrel" director.
But here’s the wildest part:
every object and detail stayed locked in place,
like a perfect match cut as the world expanded around me.
Didn’t plan it.
Wasn’t trying to make anything cinematic.
WHISK just kept expanding the moment every time I pushed it.
