The Fig Tree
In the Chosen season 5 Jesus teaches his disciples about why he cursed the fig tree that wasn’t producing fruit. Jesus compared the fig tree to the Pharisees. He goes on to say that the tree gave the appearance of fruit but truthfully lacked anything that was good. What do you think he was trying to teach his disciples here?
