Today was another step forward in my mission. I spent time thinking, creating, and sharing why music therapy matters—especially for veterans who are struggling in silence. I for a very long time was one. I was lost in my mind and afraid. A lot of the day was about purpose: turning personal experience into something that can help someone else feel less alone. Some moments were heavy, but they were meaningful. Even when it felt tiring, it reminded me why I am doing this—because healing is possible, connection matters, and hope is worth fighting for.
