This is not a casual group.This is a growth environment built on respect, responsibility, and lived experience.

By participating in this community, I agree to follow all group rules and contribute in a way that strengthens the environment for everyone.
🦁 Rule 1: Ask for Help Calmly, Clearly, and Positively
The words we use shape the situations we attract.
When asking for help:
- Stay calm and composed
- Be clear about what you’re asking
- Avoid chaos-dumping, venting, or emotional spirals
This is a solution-oriented space, not a reactionary one.
Lions don’t panic in the arena. They assess, then move.
🦁 Rule 2: Please Refrain From Tagging Steve or Hannah
Steve and Hannah are actively present in the community and will check in regularly.
Please:
- Do not tag them to demand attention
- Trust that leadership will engage where appropriate
- Respect their time, role, and responsibility
This community grows through shared ownership, not dependency.
🦁 Rule 3: No Self-Promotion (Unless It’s Course Work)
This is not a marketing group.
- No selling
- No pitching
- No dropping irrelevant links or offers
The only exception is sharing:
- assigned coursework
- reflections
- exercises
- growth directly tied to OALUAL content
Use this space for support, learning, and accountability—not promotion.
🦁 Rule 4: Be Kind, Courteous, and Respectful
Everyone here is carrying a story.
Healthy discussion and differing perspectives are welcome. Disrespect is not.
- Speak to others the way you would want to be addressed
- Challenge ideas, not people
- Keep the space welcoming and constructive
Strength and kindness are not opposites.
🦁 Rule 5: Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech or Bullying
This is a non-negotiable.
No bullying, harassment, or degrading language of any kind—including comments about:
- race
- religion
- culture
- sexual orientation
- gender or identity
This community must remain psychologically and emotionally safe for growth to happen.
Violations will result in removal.
🦁 Rule 6 (Non-Negotiable): Say “Thank You”
This is Steve’s deal breaker.
If you receive anything of value from a post or interaction—even:
- a perspective you disagree with
- an example of what not to do
- a posture that challenges you
You are expected to say:
“Thank you.”
Sometimes insight comes from contrast. Acknowledgment builds character.
No gratitude = no growth here.
