🧠 THEORY: Elbaph's "Special Energy" is connected to Uranus — and Vegapunk knew
Chapter 1176 dropped a detail most people scrolled past. Lilith says Elbaph is "teeming with a kind of energy" that she can harness with Vegapunk's ODC technology — and she seems genuinely surprised by the scale of it.
Here's what I think is going on.
Vegapunk's entire life work was about harnessing the natural energy of the world to benefit mankind. That's the same mission that connects him to the Ancient Weapons research. What if Elbaph sits on top of — or IS — a power source connected to Uranus?
Think about it. Elbaf has always been hyped as the final grand destination before the end of the series. The giants are the strongest warriors on earth. There's a warning NOT to stay on the island too long. And now we find out it pulses with a mysterious energy that even Vegapunk's tech can tap into?
The ODC didn't just put out the fires — it converted that energy into something tangible. Vegapunk left that machine behind on purpose. He KNEW what Elbaph had. He planned for Lilith to find it here.
My theory: Elbaph is the resting place or power source of Uranus — and the World Government doesn't want anyone, especially the giants, gaining access to it. That's the real reason the Holy Knights are here. Not just Loki. Not just the kids. They want to control the island's energy before the Straw Hats figure out what it actually is.
