Hey everyone!
First of just want to take the time to say cheers Nate for putting these vids together and taking you time to publish it on this app.
I’m Tommi form uk I’m here for gain more knowledge about chassis design and further myself learning more about cad. I’m in the very early stages starting a new project. I’m a welder by trade and on the side I do some car fabrication mainly roll cages.
My work in cad mainly sheet metal, welding tables and fixtures.
My next project I’m building a trailer and I’ll upload progress on the way as the trailer I’m building is slightly different from the norm but as the design progresses you will see why I’m here.
First question tho and I’m not sure it’s covered in any vids that I have seen. Where are you guys getting components from ie suspension wheels seats etc. all the companies o have reached out to won’t give any solid bodies models for mocking up, and I’m thinking I’m going to have to design from Scratch?
