For the privilege to serve and witness, I am eternally grateful. In serving, a person’s process is sacred and preserved in the sky with all of the mystery of the stars. This discretion only changes if the person grants the gift of their metamorphosis to the world’s knowing. Sera, whose name has been changed for the purpose of sharing has granted the world permission to witness her metamorphosis. And so here is the path that has heart. Here is the whispering of the mystery of all the stars.
When you are done, you are not just wiser. You are transformed by insight. When you dare let the full blast of light move through you, your identity shifts. Your beliefs, habits, outcomes, and capacity all change.
Nukini Hapé is a powerful plant ally, known to clear stagnant energy and ground you.Sera self-administered for the first time as she trains to work in this healing space. Hapé sharpens the senses and primes the body’s physiological state. It has accompanied ceremony and great hunts for thousands of years, held by some of the most skilled hunters on the planet. She was ready.
Sage and palo santo smoke filled the air.
She took the plant of the evening and sat to meditate on her intention. The candle glowed and crackled, painting the room with sound and color. Soon after, Sera lay curled, beginning to groan quietly. Her soul protested an emotional turmoil that language has not yet evolved to describe. But from the guttural tremble in her body, you knew what was happening—even if you knew nothing about her story.
Sera is a powerful human. Her energy is powerful, and energy is already intelligent. Intuitively, she began creating space in her body for her spirit to move. This meant decluttering corners of the body where stubborn memories had lodged themselves, waiting for resolve. That low frequency rattles the bones and turns the stomach of anyone near. This is the beginning of a quantum leap.
Her intention was to expand energetically and step into her power. The plants have a way of clearing the path for what you want. They do not necessarily give you your intention; they show you what is in the way.
She met generational trauma passed to her by a relative who collapsed, fell on top of her, and died. She was 11 years old, crawling out from under her grandmother’s body to cry for help on the balcony. Her grandmother, the motherly figure in her life, was already gone. That day marked the beginning of three and a half decades of masking to protect the people she loved.
Sera spent this evening seeing the brutal effects of that tradition. In her child-mind, her grandmother’s death was her fault. She assigned herself that responsibility because she was not prepared to remedy her grandmother’s illness. She had unconsciously carried that burden for over thirty years. On this night, she realized that her grandmother’s withholding information about her health had actually prevented the family from being able to respond.
Sera saw that her own protective style was doing the same thing—handicapping her loved ones, keeping them from being able to show up for her and make sound decisions. She recognized that much of the suffering was a choice, and that she had the power to enlighten those around her so things could change.
She evolved into a truth-teller.
She became a woman who does not jeopardize her own well-being or the peace of those she loves by hiding her hardships. She became a woman willing to share the realities of her challenges with the very people who might otherwise blame themselves for her downfall one day. She broke a tradition that was likely passed down to her grandmother.
She liberated her entire bloodline.
