★★★ THE BENEFITS OF USING A PLANNER ★★★
If you're a pinterest girl (and I hope you are), you might be familiar with seeing "aesthetic planner posts" where people take pictures of what they write and decorate in their planner or bullet journal (see what i mean below), and obviously, they're really pretty and all, but you might be thinking: what is the point of spending hours every week writing and drawing into these little notebooks? What is so special about them that so many famous bloggers and content creator do? And of course, the most important question: Should I do it too?
Well, I'm also one of the people who take up this activity every week, and in this post I'm gonna share with you (I'm not a gatekeeper) about why I use a planner, and why you should take up this hobby too. I'm also gonna share some hints and ideas that you might use to help start your own planner.
★ Firstly, WHY DO I, AND WHY SHOULD YOU START A PLANNER?★
"Self-actualization" is an idealogy that many people follow. To self-actualize is to be aware of yourself and to realise and fulfill one's talents and potentiabilities. Taking up bullet journaling and having a planner is an excellent and highly recommended method to achieve self-actualization. In short, writing a planner will help you become the best of yourself. Moreover, bullet journaling and writing are also ways of relaxation that many opt for. Of course, the aesthetic factor is also a reason why I take up, and you should take up writing a planner and bullet journaling.
★ HOW TO START A PLANNER? ★
Here is a recommended way to start a planner <3:
1️⃣ Find a cute notebook. I recommend ones from Crabit Notebuck (they're really cute), or ones that already have planners printed on the pages. You can easily find one in the nearest bookshops. Try finding one that reflects your personality
2️⃣ Get your essentials: Pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, stickers, bookmarks, ... all the things needed for writing and decorating
3️⃣Draw up a weekly planner. It could be really simple or really pretty. You can search for some templates on Pinterest.
I also recommend writing things other than your planning into your planner/journal: your goals, your achievements, a vision board, ... Sparkle with creativity! And most important of all - have fun!
