Joining Michael Rice’s No Theory Club completely turned my guitar playing around—in just 1 month, I went from zero progress to mastering chords & playing songs. Michael created a platform focused on tangible results, with step-by-step practice guides, a streamlined path to learning tracks, challenges to level up your skills, Live Q&As: with support so you never stay stuck. Coupled with a community, this club actually delivers. If you want real progress, I recommend joining. Thank you, Michael!

No Theory Club has made learning guitar enjoyable and much less intimidating. Michael explains everything in a clear, practical way without overwhelming you with complicated music theory. As an older guitarist who enjoys country music, I appreciate how the lessons help me improve my rhythm, chord changes, and confidence while playing real songs. The community is encouraging, the instruction is easy to follow, and I finally feel like I’m making genuine progress.

Absolutely amazing place to learn to play guitar !! I joined as a begginer, completed the 7 day challenge and was playing and singing my first full song. I was instantly hooked to the No Theory Club! Then, in just 4.5 short months I went from a begginer to playing my first fingerstyle solo gig!! The song library gives you not only the chord progressions but a visual lesson on the strumming, chords and lyrics. Michael Rice is a phenomenal teacher!

I have been here since February 2026 and I had not pick a guitar up in around 30 years and i stumbled across Michael Rice on No Theory Club and he has been working with me and it’s has been a great trip with his helping me I can play just about any open chord and a few Barr chords my experience with this is unbelievable I would recommend him to anyone I can’t say enough about his teaching thanks again Michael Rice

The No Theory Club has been the game changer for me! Not because of there being no theory I ctually like learning about music theory! But the tools are amazing here. The practice app allows you to work on the things you're struggling with. The teacher is very invested and involved in day-to-day learning, is always improving and tweaking things.
