It's Business

As an artist (speaking just for me) I love making music. I love writing rhymes. I love finding a beat that just hits and sits with me. I'm a consumer as much as I am a provider...then I'm bludgeoned by the non evasive fact that to do the thing I love and love doing it..I have to understand the business.

I'm serious when I ask this. What 5 hour videos do I have to watch to understand the music business?? What books do I need to buy.

Understand I'm not asking for success. I'm not asking for shortcuts(but if you have proven shortcuts I'm not turning them away) I am asking for information

The greats had managers and publicists and teams and everything you could have and still told us they had the worse deals. So I need information if anyone has it or is willing to share
