This concept is known to be used a measuring guide to mastery by different industries. "10,000 hours of appropriately guided practice was “the magic number of greatness,” regardless of a person’s natural aptitude"
There are 8760 hours in a year.
If you sleep 7 hours every night then you are awake for about 6205 hours in a year.
There are about 2,080 working hours a year (if you work 40/week)
Leaving ABOUT 1,715 hours, which about 71 days😅.
So that leads me to ask,
Artist /Producers/Songwriters -- What are some activities that you would count towards your hours? Outside of recording and writing.
Managers/A&Rs/Execs - what are some of your activities that you would consider to count toward your hours?
