Tilt doesn’t just cost money. It costs presence. It pulls you out of your body, out of the moment, and straight into reaction mode. Here’s a process I teach all my high-level clients to reset and return to calm:
The Hakalla Technique
- Pick a point on the wall in front of you.
- Stare at that point steadily.
- Then, without moving your eyes, begin to soften your focus and open your peripheral vision.
- Allow the whole room to come into awareness left, right, above, below.
- Stay here for 1–2 minutes, just breathing.
This simple shift brings you out of tunnel vision and back into full awareness. It calms your nervous system. It interrupts the trance of tilt.It resets you into patience. 👉 Try it the next time you feel yourself rushing, forcing, or chasing.
