💜 Welcome to NICU Life! 💜
I’m so happy you’re here!
After 30 years as a nurse, including 15 years at the NICU bedside, I’ve learned that NICU life is a world of its own. It’s filled with tiny victories, big emotions, unexpected challenges, and a whole lot of love. ❤️
I created this community because even though a stroke ended my nursing career, it didn’t end my desire to support NICU babies and their families.
This is a place to connect, share experiences, celebrate milestones, and make everyday NICU life a little easier.
We’ll talk about practical things like finding comfort during long hospital days, managing stress, creating routines, staying organized, and all those little tips and tricks that make a difficult journey more manageable.
One important rule: We don’t give medical advice here. Your baby’s medical team is always your best resource for medical questions and decisions. We’re here for emotional support, encouragement, and practical everyday ideas.
🌸 Now, let’s get to know each other!
Introduce yourself in the comments!
💜 Are you a current NICU parent, graduate parent, grandparent, caregiver, or NICU professional?
💜 Where are you joining us from?
💜 What’s one thing you’ve learned, or one thing you’re hoping to find here?
Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
And remember, around here, we celebrate everything—including poop! 💩😂
Welcome to NICU Life. You belong here.
With big love,
Anna-Mari 💜
