....is the distance between your brain and your heart. Whether it is an emotional loss from divorce or death of a family member, friend or furbaby, we understand things in our brains but can't get it accepted in our heart. Eventually we do but it takes time and work.
I have dealt with all those things but am now faced with a different set of circumstances yet fighting that 18 inches again. We just bought a new house. I am excited because it is a nice home in a gorgeous view setting. I can't wait - yet - I feel overcome with anxiety of the work ahead because I know it will fall mainly on me.
It's 4 hours away and we will be keeping the home I am currently in for as long as we need. There is no rush as we will be doing it with U-Haul when we can/want. I guess I am looking for tips, motivational ideas or whatever y'all can share to help me start on the major decluttering that must commence. All my moving in the past was done locally so this is different and I refuse to move a lot of things I no longer want or will need. I'll be donating a lot, maybe selling some things too. I know all the reasons to let go of stuff. I don't think that will be a problem. Getting that first step going is the biggie. Suggestions?
Oh and any suggestions for packing things is welcome too.๐
