BOFs (Birds of a Feather) are member-led micro-crews inside Nautical Me! (Racing, Foiling, Ship Modeling, Chartering, Naval History, Makers, and more). BOFs are not courses—they’re circles where shipmates share stories, projects, and events.

Where BOFs Live

A community thread for day-to-day conversation
An optional Private Classroom “BOF Clubhouse” for event details, files, and archives

Fees + Splits (simple rules)

Skool Live: preferred and usually $0
Zoom: leaders may propose a fee (to cover licensing/admin); house approves
If a BOF is paid, the house share follows the BOF Manual defaults (based on tool and overhead)

Permissioning + Security

BOF Clubhouses are Private
Never post Zoom links in public categories—links go inside the private clubhouse only
Zoom requires: passcode + waiting room + no join-before-host + restricted screen share
