I started listening to Het Klokhuis and it's made a big difference. It's made for children and each episode covers a different invention. They start with a riddle and the answer is the invention for that episode and then they go over the history of it and interesting facts. It's pretty easy to follow and since each episode is on one topic, the vocabulary is easy to understand and infer the meaning. And it feels like such an achievement when I completely understand an episode and even learn some interesting facts from it.

Does anyone have any podcast recommendations for those of us starting out?
