I keep coming back to a hard truth: I’m going to lose everyone I love, or they’ll lose me. That sounds bleak, but it points me to something real: love only exists now. When I love, I often build tomorrows in my head. That imagined future can feel intoxicating, but it’s not real yet. That’s where rhythm reminds me. Everything is changing. The Teddy Bear Effect reminds me how easy it is to cling to what feels safe, even when it’s just an idea. And di-vine reminds me there are endless possible futures, but only one place I can actually stand. Here. Now. For me, gratitude keeps that present love alive without demanding a promise from tomorrow. So the question I’m sitting with is this. How would you love differently if you stopped asking today’s love to guarantee tomorrow?
