Decision Fatigue Is ROUGH - And AI Just 1000x'd that overnight
𝐁𝐔𝐓… making a decision is chef's kiss 👌What the heck took so long???? 🤦♀️
The world seems to be changing daily.Life as a near empty-nester means life is changing daily.And let me not even get started with what's happening with AI. 🤖
For those who know me, they most likely discovered me on Facebook way back in the day.I was that weird sassy soccer mom raising four girls on my own and making startups into 7 figure machines as a business manager and consultant. 💼
𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐫 but with three adult children, two grandchildren, and the youngest less than two years from adulthood. 👧👩👵
And during all that growing we had a pandemic 😷, I went through the roller-coaster-of-death known as perimenopause 🌊 and now… you can't open your phone without hearing about the world coming to an end and how 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 you are behind in 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆. 📱💀
I've been aware of it… noticing it… and trying to navigate through the things I cannot control and looking for the levers I could control. 🎮
At the same time… my spiritual pace has accelerated as well… out of necessity. 🙏
Things were happening that just blew my mind. Heartache in my mom life that I still cannot even understand or explain. 💔
Fortunately, I found 𝐒𝐎 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 as a service missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints working for FamilySearch. I volunteer for 12+ hours a week indexing records and growing the World Family Tree. 📖✍️
It's crazy because I've been working from home for 24 years, and even my mission is from home. To say I've been fairly isolated for a while is an understatement. 🏠
Anyone who's left awesome coworkers to start working from home knows that there are definitely some serious trade-offs to be made when you work from home. 😬
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞-𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬.Every decision has them.And they are impossible to fully understand. 🤯
That is where the decision fatigue really starts to take a toll.What is the COST of this decision? 💰
What often fails to get accounted for is "What is the cost of 𝐍𝐎𝐓 making a decision."
There's the rub.𝐍𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐒 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. ⚖️
And still… I've been wrestling with so many choices that cost me more for not having made one. 😩
The decisions I was wrestling with?
- What to share.
- Where to share it.
- Who to share with?
- To what end? 🤷♀️
And I went in circles with all the reasons why this or that thing wasn't right. 🔄
Until I remembered… 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 "𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭" 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘.
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘. 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍. 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄. ⏰
I am WAY too old to take SO LONG to remember this lesson! 😂
That said… one of the benefits of reading scriptures daily is realizing 𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆! 🙌
Oh… sometimes the ghetto and twang will creep in from my olden days. NotSorry. 😜
So… here's what I realized.
𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐗𝐄𝐒. 📦❌𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐒. 🏷️❌
I change TOO often ON PURPOSE because I seek to grow every single day. 🌱
But… Algorithms… amiright?They like consistency and NICHES and SPECIFICITY and… 🤖
I just can't be bothered to be that specific right now.
I'm going through things. 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒.𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐘 𝐔𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒. 🌀
What makes them related?It's my life. ❤️
So… the name of this group is 𝐌𝐲 𝐀𝐈 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬.
For now. 🛠️
I can build AI Systems with the 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 of them.But the part I care about most is the 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐌. 🕊️
Freedom from fear, anxiety, overwhelm, and oppression.
That's a tall order.But every time these things strike… 𝐈 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. Systematically. Holistically. Just not perfectly. 💪

Now that I know where I'm going to put content, and 𝐇𝐎𝐖 I'll deliver it (written first), we will let life do what life does and teach me lessons about how to evolve from here. 🌊
