Today reminded me how easily our plans can shift. A surprise visit from a friend meant I was late for my appointment—but I stayed calm and didn’t beat myself up. We even prayed together, which made the visit meaningful.
🎶 The songwriting challenge lit me up! In just 30 minutes, I pulled together ideas, crafted a melody, and adjusted the verse to fit. It felt so good to create something beautiful under pressure.
🪞 But I also noticed old thoughts creeping in—comparison, feeling behind, memories of failed relationships. I’m learning to challenge those thoughts with God’s Word and affirmations. I am not defined by my past.
