Growing children
You thought you would remember every stage — the giggles, the messes, the tiny shoes by the door.
But suddenly, they’re taller, busier, more independent… and you’re standing there with a full heart and misty eyes wondering when “someday” turned into right now.
You’re proud. You’re grateful. But if you’re honest …you’re a little heartbroken too.
Because no one tells you how loud the quiet moments feel when they don’t need you quite as much.
Thank God for the growth — theirs and yours.
