Looking for "couch surfing" in Montreal

I am wondering someone here can provide a pla ce to stay in Montreal to save on Hotel fees, from October 1 to October 6.

It's not for me, but an Iranian woman immigrant, a colleague I have in my day job.

She has to pass medical and language exams in Montreal.

Immigration is tough on immigrants.

The frequency and cost of these exams is pure extortion, methinks.

Any help in that regard will be considered. Either DM or comment.
