The Results of the LIVEathon
I posted this in the BuildLab Community too but here is a summary of some of the takeaways from this weekend's LIVEathon.
This weekend I decided to give myself a little challenge. Mike is always telling us to go live for at least an hour everyday so I thought to myself, β€œI wonder what would happen if I went LIVE for 12 hours a day for 3 days in a row. With that, the LIVEathon was born.
Yep, I went LIVE for 12 hours on Saturday, 12 hours on Sunday and 10 hours on Monday. It was a very interesting experiment that generated a lot of intriguing results and lessons. I have included a summary below but feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
  1. There is some sort of momentum that builds the more you go LIVE. My following was growing but the viewership and the engagement grew from day to day and session to session. Prior to this weekend my average viewer count would have been 10-20 and peaked at just below 30. During the LIVEathon it peaked at just below 90 and averaged 20-35 or so.
  2. My follower total grew by about 350.
  3. My Skool community more than doubled doubled in size from 24-51.
  4. I sold 3 offers
  5. I generated approximately 34 hours of content.
  6. All the new followers and traffic also reignited views on some of my posts that had stalled and we’re not receiving views.
A couple of other things that deserve to stand alone are:
  • I spoke my message for 30 hours and is now super tight. It’s so tight that now I am in testing phase where I am intentionally playing with subtle nuances and watching for how the audience responds.
  • Having gone through this experience, I would have talked more about and push more of the audience towards my free community. As soon as I started talking about it more, my skool started to gain momentum.
If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask away. My brain is pretty well mush at this point so if any other key learnings come to mind later, I will update the post to include them.
In conclusion, Just Go LIVE!!
Next weekend, I'm going to try to Go LIVE 6 hours per day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I'll report on those results.
If these results excite you but the thought of going LIVE still scares you, go check out the free microcourse in the classroom called: Conquer Your Fear of Going LIVE.
Also, if you're looking for a little extra boost, consider joining the 10 Day Go LIVE Challenge which will be kicking off on March 1!
