First off welcome to the group! I am going to share a bit about myself and welcome you to share about yourself in the comments OR create your own post!
I'm Amanda, a 37 year old (recently single) mom of two amazing kidsโmy 8-year-old son and my 6-year-old daughter and my 3rd child a tiny dog named Henry. I am going to be honest and share things I normally wouldnโt to foster a supportive community where everyone is comfortable to share their lives even if it is uncomfy!

I run my own business, Innovative Biz Management, and call myself an online business manager/virtual assistant. But my journey here has been quite a ride. I started my career as a chef, but after having my first child, I realized I needed a career that better suited family life. So, I transitioned into an office admin role at a real estate office. After my second child, I didn't want to go back to a traditional job due to the high cost of daycare and being my own boss was something I saw for myself since I was a teen. I experimented with drop shipping and eventually found my groove as a virtual assistant and now call myself an online business manager. I love what I do in all aspects, from working remotely to being able to connect and work with all types of business and people regardless of where they are located! In my personal life, I love being outdoorsโhiking, camping, hitting the beach, and gardening. Adventures with my kids are the best, and Iโm passionate about reading. We are pet lovers and would probably own a small hobby farm filled with animals if given the opportunity!

Starting this group means a lot to me because I know firsthand how challenging it is to juggle being a mom and an entrepreneur. Recently, my life has taken a significant turn as my partner of 20 years and I are separating. It's been tough, especially since there's another woman involved who is our neighbor, making the situation quite messy. This has made me become even or determined and motivated then I have ever been, and I figured now is as good a time as any to start something new.
I created this community because I would love a space where mompreneurs could connect and support each other, both personally and professionally. Whether you're facing tough personal issues like I am or need advice on scaling your business, this is the place for you. Share your experiences, seek advice, and find the support you need. My goal is to provide valuable resources, from links to tailored webinars and courses, to help you grow in all aspects of your life.
