Friday's SPY close - Huge probe below
SPY: 0DE straddle into the close example targeting upper or lower FVG : Entered 0DE 733P/C position about 10 mins before the close for $1.10. Was watching for manual exit of $1.10 saw bid getting to $1.43 and up so submitted the limit sell (right then, market maker probed down hard I think to grab liquidity, my call leg got filled for $3.30 per put leg filled at 1 second before the closing bell (3:59:59p ET). So I left the $0.03 call leg open to the end of the extended session and sold for $0.13 or $3.33 on the position and $2.33 realized gain/212% ROI. Nice way to end the trading day and week!!!!!!!
I'm keenly interested in learning what signal that probe down at the close of the last session provides going forward. 5M+ shares changed hands, shares sold down to 716.58 (that's a lot of stops being hit, and shares grabbed as they were bought back up to 728-1/2 or so in one 5-minute interval. I have a lean on this one, but I've seen these go both ways in net session. Very smart traders here, any/all thoughts appreciated.
I would like to grow our group here, so feel free to post anytime, and please invite other people to join. I really appreciate it!!
Cheers all! Hope you're all in the money.🤗
