Did a poll on YouTube this morning.
At one point, 5% of people said Linux isn’t required for DevOps.
I go deep on this in my DevOps Roadmap and other YouTube videos,
but let me save you some time:
💻 If you want to work in DevOps, you need to know Linux.
Not casually. Not surface-level. Actually know it.
☁️ Every cloud provider
🐳 Every container
🏢 Every real-world job
They all run on it.
It’s not a bonus skill. It’s the foundation.
If you’re skipping Linux, you’re skipping the job.
Why do you personally think Linux matters?
