🔥Campfire Chat: So You May Lack Nothing...
I once sat with a guy named Jesse Elder—speaker, entrepreneur, mentor to many.
And something he said struck me:
“Most of what I’ve learned came from reading the Bible, even as an unbeliever.”
That shocked me.
Because whether you believe or not, some truths are impossible to ignore.
Here’s one from Paul to the church in Thessalonica:
“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.”— 1 Thessalonians 4:11–12 (KJV)
This isn’t about reading in silence.
It’s not about hiding from the world.
It’s a call to focus.
To study with purpose, not endlessly, but so you can do the work with clarity and confidence.
To stop chasing and start building.
To grow, not just by learning from books or videos, but by actually doing the thing, day in and day out.
Because the goal of study isn’t to stay a student forever.
It’s to become so grounded in your craft that the noise doesn’t shake you anymore.
👉 That’s when mastery begins.
👉 That’s when momentum builds.
👉 That’s when the outside noise stops (shiny object syndrome)
And if you’ve been bouncing from idea to idea…
Waiting to feel “ready”…
Or hoping the next funnel, coach, or strategy will finally be it…
Here’s your permission to stop.
STOP BUILDING HALF BUILT BRIDGES!
Study to be quiet (paying no attention to the external noise).
Do your work.
Make it your own.
And stick with it long enough to become a master of it.
Because those who do?
They lack nothing.
You’ve got what you need.
You just need to build it.
Let’s go.
