Help!
Daughter had her tongue tie snipped on day 5, but she is now 9 weeks and 3 days and I still can’t get her to latch on the breast :(
Exclusively pumping and seeing cranial osteopaths, lactation consultants and breast feeding specialists as she’s interested and still trying to breastfeed, but just can’t seem latch or coordinate latching and sucking (even with a nipple shield).
Her top lip is curled in when she feeds on the bottle and my health visitor and breastfeeding specialist have suggested she might also have a lip tie. Is this something milk matters deal with and that would have been picked up when you did the assessment?
Any advice as to how we can move forward with breastfeeding would be really appreciated! Xx
