Welcome! I know first hand how beneficial community can be.
When my son joined the RAF at 16, I was clueless about the recruitment process, ranks, and jargon, while depending on information from a 16 year old boy!
I reached out online, and a few mums really saved me in that first 6 months.
But there wasn’t much out there, so I set up a Facebook group, which became a source of information and support for lots of military families. Something I’m very proud of.
However despite my best efforts and being a private group, due to the nature of social media, trolls appeared and people in the group didn’t feel safe sharing their vulnerabilities, and personal stories, which created a barrier.
Thus MILITARY MUM HUB was born! A paid community offering protection against trolls, something we can all value and contribute to.
A safe space for all military mums to show pride, be vulnerable, gain knowledge and offer support.
There is no judgement here, only mutual understanding.
