Since 2024, Gmail, Yahoo, and Microsoft REQUIRE proper authentication. Without it, your emails don't just go to spam—they get blocked completely.
And here's my embarrassing confession: I accidentally broke my authentication a few months ago and didn't notice. My open rates dropped from 55% to 15% overnight. 😅
So yeah, this stuff matters.
🎯 Quick check (do this right now):
- Send yourself an email from your email platform
- Open it in Gmail → Three dots (...) → "Show original"
- Look at the top: SPF: PASS | DKIM: PASS | DMARC: PASS
All three say PASS? You're golden. Keep doing what you're doing.
