Hi, I'm Maurene Janiece.
I'm a certified book coach specializing in memoir, personal essay, and creative nonfiction. I created this community because writers doing this kind of work need more than craft advice. They need people beside them who understand that this work is hard and worth it.

Each project comes with its own unique challenges. I know because I’ve authored several nonfiction books, written a couple of novels, and dabbled in essays. Through it all, community and connecting with other writers helped the most.
