A Great Light
Flashes of a Great Light ripple through evening darkness
Thunder permeates the air
I hear my breath and the curious scratches of my pencil on a page
The soft embrace of a pillow nurtures my head like the Primordial Mother
Jasmine scented incense casts a faint aroma seemingly from another world
The aftertaste of ambrosia lingers on my tongue, reminding me that God has blessed my life
