Guys sometimes it is actually better to charge less than to charge to much.
People should be able to buy your service and they should pay you money month after month.
EXAMPLE:
You are selling a service to a client. Where will you make more money? Choose 1 or 2
1.) You are greedy and charge 20k for your service on the first transaction (people in wealthy niches do this and it works)
2.) Or you make a partnership agreement with that client and you work with him for 12 months (should be fixed in the agreement) and charge 3k per month?
I would say you make more money the second option. Of course these prices are high but think about your prices and how you could make them better.
It is about building a Cashflow Business. A business that makes you money every month.
With the second option you can also plan your budget. You know that you will get the 3k from your client and you can think about how to use it. Otherwise you would need to worry if you are able to close a client for 20k this month. (If not your MMR is $0 which should not be the case)
And you can also sell your client on the monthly retainer more. You can go to him after a few months and you can upsell him. (It is hard to upsell a client which is already paying 20k on the first transaction)
So very important don’t charge to high but also not to less. With that retainer you can charge a whole more money than with the one time transaction!
