As we talk about creativity in today's challenge I want to share some impulses that I came across to unlock creativity.
The first is the perspective on how you see creativity. It is like a wonderful being that needs your attention. You could look at it like a lover (maybe a beautiful woman) and ask yourself what it would need to blossom. Maybe it is a certain smell or a green area. You want to pursue her and not wait for her to come.
The second is seeing it as part of your inner child. And the child wants to play. So you look at it and ask: Hey what do we want to play today. How can we have fun.
The third asks the question of if you are a painter or an artist. A painter makes things that work, maybe he always uses the same colors again and again. But an artist sits and listens within asking for guidance. There is no pattern to follow - only the present moment where we listen within and the inspiration arises. I like this because it confronts us with the courage to trust our own inspiration instead of trying to do what everyone else does, because it's safe. But when we listen within we tap into the unknown mystery of what might come.
I experimented with all of them and it works quite well.
