First warm up & stretches competed!
Yesterday evening I had the honour to take a teens/ adults class at Marrickville for prep zone, warm up, and stretches. I was confident about the stretches, I was also confident about the warm up but excited and nervous.
Amazing to see the class work translate into practice.
I used pauses, changed pitch and tone based on what I wanted the class to do. My instructions at a couple of times were not as clear as they could be.
Everything in class made sense and it was all registered in my head however, when under pressure and in the moment it is hard to apply it all quickly! I had to keep removing my hands from my hips, abd problem solve my warm not accounting for the fact that white belts haven’t been taught tornado kicks!
Great to have the opportunity and go for it.
Next to review my video ( eek!) thanks Mark & the great bunch of students in the Friday class!
