Today is January 29 Iām currently working a full-time job in a very small ski town in Colorado. Iāve spent the last few weeks building out my backend and getting extremely familiar with the systems end to end.
Iām doing my best to stay consistent in the narrow window I have roughly 6pmā11pm after working 7amā6pm during the day.
Iām still not A2P verified yet š which has slowed some things down.
So far, Iāve sent out about 30 Looms total š¢
Not the volume I know I need, but Iām actively working on increasing it.
On the wins side:
I closed a barber shop here in town by walking in and doing door-to-door sales during my lunch break.
$1,500 setup + $750/month.
I also closed a tattoo artist today through cold DMs and an iframe demo.
$2,000 setup + $497/month.
Iām working with another barber in Denver someone I used to work with years ago. We recently reconnected. Heās on a $500/month plan with no setup fee since heās a family friend. In return, Iām giving him the full package: ads, AI, and voice AI. In return of the discount the goal here is to fully build this out as a public case study, create a content series, and openly share everything Iām doing for him.
We launched ads last week. I made 10 videos using CapCutās AI š (apparently Iām a videographer now).
Leads are coming in at $3ā$6 each. So far, heās gotten 32 leads, and the AI has already closed 13 of them, with ongoing follow-up happening on the rest. Iāll share a deeper update on this soon.
Where Iām struggling right now is focus.
With such a small daily window, I keep asking myself:
Should I be producing content?
Should I be prospecting?
Is it realistic to do both consistently with the time I have?
Thatās the main thing Iām trying to solve next getting clarity on what actually deserves my attention day to day
