Annoying hair probs

I have 1c hair. To the left side( 1st pic) of my hair parting, its wavy enough for a midpart. But towards the right( 2nd pic) of the parting, its barely wavy. Sometimes like once a week , this issue is not there. I use a volumizing shampoo+conditioner.

Really need some good guidance on this. Also by judging from the pic, is my hair 1c ?
