Opening Day!
I was lucky enough to be here on opening day -- my first opening day at Mammoth! As said, it was low tide in some areas but the coverage was far better than I expected. I was surprised to see the face of Chair 3 was open with some nice packed powder. Too bad they couldn't open the top. They had the line ropes ready on Chair 23 but once the snow started, visibility was not good up top. Couple of my [poor] pictures from the day.
It snowed non-stop the entire time I was there. Friday is going to be epic!
